Trail 31 Sub-Towns
In collaboration with Eagle Crest Construction, FAAS has designed a new 50-unit multi-residential development situated along 31st Avenue NE, adjacent to Edmonton Trail in the community of Winston Heights-Mountview. The project features four buildings ranging between two and three-storey’s, with the goal to create vibrancy and value in the Main Street corridor context along Edmonton Trail. The development is also mindful of the surrounding lower scale residential homes, that provides a sensitive solution aligning with the trajectory of the future development goals of the area.
The project contains a mix of unit types, aimed at accommodating a diverse range of Calgarians. The 50-dwelling development includes a mix of basement and at grade micro units, at grade flats and above grade townhouses. A 49-stall parking garage below grade connects all buildings and includes 72 class one bicycle parking stalls, emphasizing the evolving needs for alternative and sustainable transportation. The buildings footprint comes together to form a courtyard configuration that enhances both community interaction and privacy.
Diversity is a key focus of the project, catering to a broad spectrum of Calgarians. The 22-dwelling development includes a variety of unit types, such as basement and at-grade micro units, at-grade flats, and above-grade townhouses. Each at-grade flat and above-grade unit is provided with 11 covered carport parking stalls. Additionally, all micro units come equipped with 11 individual, secure, and enclosed mobility storage units. The arrangement of the building footprint forms a courtyard configuration, promoting both community interaction and privacy enhancement.
