Ryan Bishop serves as the Intermediate Construction Administrator at FAAS, where he plays a key role in ensuring that construction projects are executed smoothly and efficiently. His responsibilities include reviewing contractor shop drawings, responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), conducting site visits, preparing detailed site visit reports, and ensuring that architectural drawings are followed to the letter during the construction process. With many years of experience in the construction industry, Ryan uses his expertise to ensure that projects are completed accurately, on schedule, and to the highest standards.
Ryan holds a diploma in Civil Engineering Technologies from Okanagan College in Kelowna, BC, and is also a Red Seal Journeyman Ironworker. His educational background and certifications reflect his deep understanding of construction processes and his commitment to excellence in the field.
At FAAS, Ryan is particularly excited to work on larger projects like the Truman Gallery and other mid-rise developments. He is eager to broaden his knowledge of all aspects of building construction, from foundations to roofs, and to deepen his understanding of the intricate details that bring a project together. Ryan's favorite aspect of working at FAAS is the positive atmosphere and culture within the office. The collaborative environment makes each day enjoyable and motivates him to continue contributing to the success of the team.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his partner, traveling, and working on their yard and garden during the summer. He has also recently developed a strong interest in ice hockey and is learning to play the sport. Additionally, Ryan loves cycling and often spends his summer days riding his road bike along the river paths in the city, embracing both adventure and relaxation. Ryan’s blend of professional expertise, dedication to his craft, and passion for life outside of work make him a valued and well-rounded member of the FAAS team.
