As a Junior Designer at FAAS, Gerry is enthusiastic about transitioning from theoretical studies to the practical side of architecture, where he can witness projects from concept to completion. He holds both a Bachelor's and a Master’s in Architectural Studies from Carleton University, where he was honored with the AIA Medal for Academic Excellence. At FAAS, Gerry conducts feasibility site studies and refines designs for development permits, focusing on crafting quality spaces. He is particularly passionate about exploring how landscape and amenity spaces can foster meaningful connections between occupants and their environments. Gerry appreciates the supportive and collaborative team culture at FAAS, he is excited to be part of a team that pushes boundaries and embraces innovative ideas. Outside of work, Gerry enjoys creative pursuits like drawing and photography, often capturing the beauty of Calgary and the surrounding hiking trails.
He also finds joy in reading and woodworking, which complement his artistic passions.
