Liam Campbell

Liam is a Junior Designer at FAAS with a background in Urban Studies and Architecture. Raised in Calgary, he approaches architecture through an understanding of its relationship to the surrounding urban and natural context. He is particularly interested in creating comfortable, pedestrian-focused environments that strengthen connections between buildings, streets, and the communities they serve. Liam is continually exploring new tools and workflows to improve the design process, using computational methods to optimize problem solving and create opportunities for more thoughtful design decisions. Outside of the office, Liam is an avid cyclist and has worked as a bike mechanic for over six years. He spends his free time exploring Calgary and the Kananaskis backcountry by bike or on foot.
