FAAS has partnered with WestUrban Developments to develop a 200 unit multifamily project in Wateridge Village, Ottawa, Ontario.
The design concept bisects the massing to create a central courtyard that is connected to its context through a central green promenade, providing a generous amenity for both residents and the public. Step backs on the top two floors and material transitions breakup the massing to create a more scale sensitive transition from lower-density developments, as well as allowing greater sun penetration into the amenity and visual articulation.
