365 Ypres – Duncan

FAAS has partnered with WestUrban to deliver a new multi-family residential project in Duncan, a city in southern Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Thoughtfully integrated into the site’s natural slope, the two buildings respect the scale and character of Ypres and Brea Avenues, while contributing essential affordable housing to the community.

Surrounded by untouched forests, Duncan’s natural beauty inspired the design. Natural materials like wood and stone were chosen to harmonize with the landscape, while refined urban elements reflect the city’s evolving character. Duncan features unique amenities such as an at-grade courtyard pavilion, rooftop garden, and communal gathering space.
